Troubleshooting native fixed bundles

Shopify bundle items not showing on the product page?

The bundle can be valid in Shopify while its component products remain invisible to shoppers. Here is how to identify the gap before changing your theme or replacing your bundle app.

Shopify bundle page displaying its component products
Expected result: each included item is visible before purchase.

Three checks

Find out where the display is breaking

  1. Confirm the bundle typeThe product must be a native fixed bundle with components defined in Shopify Bundles.
  2. Check the product templateA bundle product can use a different Online Store 2.0 template from your normal products.
  3. Look for a display blockShopify stores the components, but your theme still needs a block that renders them to shoppers.

Check the Shopify admin first

Are the components missing in the admin too?

Open the bundle product and inspect its Bundled products block. If the expected components or inventory are missing there, Shopify recommends increasing one component quantity, saving, then changing it back and saving again to trigger a re-sync.

Follow Shopify's official bundle troubleshooting guidance.

Then check the storefront

If the admin is correct but shoppers see no component list

The native bundle data is present. The remaining gap is usually presentation: the product template needs a section or app block that renders those components on the Online Store product page.

The common gap

The data exists, but the theme does not display it

Inventory and order handling can work correctly without a visible component list on the storefront. That is a presentation problem, not proof that the native bundle itself is broken.

Avoid the wrong fix

Do not rebuild a working bundle just for disclosure

If you only need to show names, images, links and quantities, add a theme app block instead of maintaining a second bundle catalogue.

Before adding more bundle offers

Make the fixed bundle easy to understand

A native bundle can be technically correct and still create hesitation. Before changing the discount or adding more bundle choices, check whether a shopper can answer these questions from the product page itself.

  1. What is included?Show every component with its name and image instead of relying on the bundle title alone.
  2. How many of each item?Display component quantities clearly, especially for multipacks and repeated products.
  3. Where does each item lead?Link components to their product pages when shoppers may need specifications, sizing or ingredient details.

Next step

Use the smallest fix that matches the problem

If the product is a native fixed bundle

Follow the complete bundle contents guide, then add Bundle Reveal to the bundle product template.

Why does my Liquid bundle-component snippet render nothing?

A blank Liquid result does not prove the bundle is broken. Native bundle relationships are not guaranteed to appear as a normal product metafield that every theme can render. Confirm the components in Shopify admin first; if they are present there, use a theme app block built to read native fixed-bundle data instead of guessing metafield names.

If the product is a normal product

Bundle Reveal stays hidden by design. It does not infer components from descriptions, tags or manually grouped products.

If the storefront is headless

This app is not the right fit because it relies on Shopify Online Store theme app blocks.

For native Shopify fixed bundles

Add the missing storefront display without editing Liquid.
